Urgh...Greens!!!

Fortunately Healeys Printers prefer being green
than eating them*!

Green issues and printers haven’t always been the best of bedfellows, but here at Healeys we’re taking great strides towards being one of the country’s most environmentally friendly printers and are currently working towards the ISO 14001 Environmental Management Policy.

Our revolutionary new printing press, the Heidelberg Anicolor, (which incidentally was the first in the UK) can make ready to print on as little as 20 sheets of paper. Considering that a normal full colour printing press can waste up to 300 sheets for every print run that’s quite something!

The paper we print on is either from sustainable forests or recycled and then what waste we do have is compacted before it’s recycled, once again, seriously reducing the amount of bin lorries on Suffolk’s roads. Oh, and our inks – they’re vegetable based! So even if you don’t like eating greens you can read them instead!
