David Bailey September 14, 2010

Managing Director Philip Dodd and Designer Dean Hearn attended the launch of David Bailey’s first sculpture exhibition in London on 6th September 2010.

Healeys provided the catalogue for the show – a 64 page case bound book foil blocked in dark blue on orange fabric. Bailey stated “it was the finest printing he had seen from a British printer for a long time”

Healeys at IPEX May 28, 2010

A group of ten Healeys staff visited IPEX at the weekend.

IPEX stands for the International Print Equipment Exhibition, and was held on 22nd May 2010.

Healeys used the visit to finalise plans for its most comprehensive investment in its history.

Upgrading and extending the capabilities of the bindery is first priority with orders being negotiated for a new laminator and folder. Web to print software for online ordering will follow this year.

Completing the investment in 2011 will be a saddle stitcher, new digital press and the most highly automated Heidelberg B2 press – a five colour with on press spectrophmetric measuring and auto plate giving the potential for the shortest make readies possible – more news as order are placed.

New Press now operational January 7, 2010

The new B2 CD74 5 colour Heidelberg Press is now fully operational.

New Press on its way November 4, 2009

Healeys have placed on order a B2 CD74 5 colour Heidelberg Press for December installation. This will accompany a full prepress upgrade incorporating Remote Access – an automatic workflow with enhanced customer benefits – more details in the upcoming newsletter.
